Dr. Özge ZORLU

Dr. Özge Zorlu received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Hons.) degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey, in 2000 and 2002, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in microtechnology from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2008. He was a Research Assistant with METU and EPFL between 2000 and 2008. In 2008, he joined the METU-MEMS Center, Ankara, Turkey, as a Senior Researcher, where he was involved in more than 10 R&D projects on energy harvesting, BioMEMS, microfluidics, RF MEMS, magnetic sensors and thin films, and interface electronics for microsensors and actuators. In 2015, he co-founded Cellsway and has been serving as the company’s CTO since then. He oversees the company’s engineering activities, including the design and manufacturing of microfluidic systems, as well as managing the company’s IP strategy. He is the co-author of 8 patents, 25 journal and more than 40 conference papers.
