Taylan Töral

Senior Fabrication Engineer

Taylan Berkin Töral received his B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University Ankara, Turkey, in 2007 and his M.S. (Hons.) degree in Micro and Nanotechnology from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey, in 2014. He is currently a PhD student in Micro Nanotechnology Department at METU.  He worked as a Design and Process Engineer in Thin Film Nanotube Laboratory of Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, between 2006 and 2009. Afterwards, he worked as a Research Assistant and Process Engineer at Quantum Devices and Nanophotonics Research Laboratory in METU, between 2010 and 2011. In 2012, he joined METU-BioMEMS research group, and worked as Design and Process Engineer in METU-MEMS Research facility, between 2012 and 2015. In January 2016, he joined the team. He is specialized in MEMS fabrication and design methods, BioMEMS, and microfluidics. He studied resonance based mass sensor for detection applications of Circulating Tumor Cells (CTC).
